Myrtus is an evergreen beautiful shrub, known for thousands of years and important for human activities since then. Native to South Europe, North Africa and other places, it is drought tolerant, heat and frost hardy and can survive in full sun and partly shady locations.
Once you learn more about the whole genus of Salvia, you can only fell in love with them! There are almost one thousand species in this group which offer such a variation of color, shape and foliage. Their color range is outstanding from blue to lilac, from white to dark red and creamy yellow to dark orange. All have nectar-rich flowers that attract pollinators and bring your garden to life.
Poinsettia needs no introduction. What would Christmas be without poinsettias? There are not a lot new things for us to say about Hydrangea that you don’t already know. Known throughout the world for its extraordinary flowering Hydrangea (or hortensia) has large and serrated dark green leaves and produces a large balloon composed of many small flowers of various colours, from white to pink to liliac up to blue.

The stately plant has slender, powerful stems, large leaves and very impressive flowers. If you look closely, you will see that the flowers are actually bracts that act as a “house” for countless small flowers. Every flower stem lasts for several weeks and keep its impressive purple tone in the house it decorates.
